havent said anything in a while so i’ll entertain you with a not so entertaining story.
so there was this kid who was not lazy, but just refused to work. He was constantly finding things to do other than work. So instead of writing his paper, he spent hours on the internets. At around 5:00, he started working. The frightening sun rises as he rushes to finish his oh-so-dreadful essay. 6:30 approaches. Finally! Done! He had to hand in another assignment so he walked to the Hill Center. Busch was abandoned, just as if a zombie apocalypse was approaching. He staggers to the door due to the lack of sleep. *chunk* The door is locked. *chunk* *chunk* all the doors are locked. He had walked 20 minutes just to find that he had to walk all the way back sleep-deprived to his place. After walking further in this desolate town, he shuts the door in his room. So tired is he that he doesn’t bother to take off his bookbag. He merely sleeps with it on. An hour passes. The kid decides to go then, and he puts the assignments in the appropriate mailboxes. Back to sleep. at 11:30 am.
btw that kid has a midterm on monday.

I have not been living a life of an imagebearer of God. My priorities are my own pleasure, of things that are weak, things of the world. My idols have been video games and manga; meaningless in the light of future glory. Therefore, i an ashamed. Not because of the Gospel that I live, but my overwhelming powerlessness. Job 10:15 says
If I am guilty—woe to me! Even if I am innocent, I cannot lift my head, for I am full of shame and drowned in my affliction.
I am guilty - woe to me! I am not innocent, so I cannot life my head; I am full of shame and drowned in my sorrows.
How decrepit are we that we cannot walk out of our filth by ourselves. How glorious is the Son who was purer than snow gave his life so that we would live. Although we do not deserve grace, we are drawn be it.
the LORD’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him. -Psalm 32:10
Set priorities straight.
From the Cross-Centered Life
A cross centered life is made up of cross centered days. Reminding ourselves of the gospel is the most important daily habit we can establish.
1. Memorize the Gospel
2. Pray the Gospel
3. Sing the Gospel
4. Review How the Gospel has changed you.
5. Study the Gospel.
To God be the glory

so at harvest time they look but find nothing.
